AI usage disclosure

AI tools are used in producing this site's content. We'd rather say that plainly on its own page than leave it unstated, and rather than overstate what our checking process actually involves.

What AI does here

AI assists with drafting and with synthesising research — turning operator documents, licence registers and public review threads into a first-pass structured writeup. It speeds up assembling a profile and helps keep the same structure across hundreds of operator pages; it does not decide what that profile says about an operator's trustworthiness, and it doesn't choose which operators get covered in the first place.

What AI does not decide

Scores are not an AI's judgment call. Every score is the output of the published formula — six weighted criteria scored against a written rubric from documented facts. A draft can propose where a fact might sit in a review; it cannot propose a score, and it has no say in table order.

How facts get checked

Every factual claim that matters — licence status, bonus terms, payout windows, a third-party reputation score — is checked against either the operator's own published document (terms and conditions, bonus page, licence footer) or a named third-party source (a public licence register, Trustpilot, AskGamblers, Casino.Guru). The date of that check is what «checked» means on a review, and it's the date shown next to the stamp, not a publish date carried forward indefinitely. Where a source doesn't publish a fact at all, the review says «not disclosed» rather than filling the gap with a plausible-sounding AI guess.

What we don't claim

This site does not open operator accounts, does not deposit, and does not place bets. Nothing here claims hands-on play testing — no «we tried withdrawing and it took four hours», because nobody here did. Our method is desk verification of public documents and sources, described exactly as that on the how we check page, and AI is a tool inside that process rather than a replacement for it.

Why this page exists

A site that pretends AI isn't involved in its production is not being straight with readers, and a site that lets AI-assisted drafting stand in for verification isn't either. This page is here so neither is true of VeriBets: AI helps write; sources and check dates decide what's true.

Corrections

If a fact is wrong — an AI-assisted draft misread a source, or a source itself has since changed — the fix follows the same editorial guidelines as any other correction: the page is updated in place and its check date moves forward, not quietly, and not without being re-checked against the source first.
