How we rank
Every score on this site is a weighted sum of six criteria, computed the same way for every casino. The weights are published below, the working is shown in each review, and no commercial relationship changes a position. This page is the contract we hold ourselves to.
What we actually do — and what we don't
Our method is desk research, and we describe it as exactly that. For every operator we: check the licence status it actually holds — verified where a regulator and number can be confirmed on the record, stated as unconfirmed where it can't (last full pass: 2026-08-09); read the operator's own terms, bonus rules and payment pages; collect documented player complaints from named public sources (Trustpilot, AskGamblers, Casino.Guru, LCB.org) and cite them; and check app-store listings. A second, independent checker re-verifies the key facts of every profile before publication.
We do not claim tests we haven't run. You will not read «we deposited and cashed out in 40 minutes» here, because we didn't. Where a fact isn't public — a payout limit, a processing window — the review says «not disclosed» rather than inventing a number.
The six criteria and their weights
| Criterion | Weight |
|---|---|
| Trust & licensing | 30% |
| Withdrawals | 25% |
| Bonuses & offers | 15% |
| Games & betting markets | 15% |
| Customer support | 10% |
| Mobile apps | 5% |
Trust & licensing (30%). The operator's real licence status — regulator and number if we could verify one, stated plainly if we couldn't — plus years in the market and documented non-payment complaints. A recent blacklist or unresolved complaint pattern costs points; a long history of clean payouts earns them.
Withdrawals (25%). Stated payout windows in the operator’s own terms, minimum withdrawal amounts and limits, and the gap between what’s promised and what players report in cited public sources.
Bonuses & offers (15%). The real value of the current sign-up offer once you read the significant terms: qualifying thresholds, expiry windows, payment-method exclusions, and the wagering multiplier you actually have to clear.
Games & software (15%). Catalogue size, game providers, and live-dealer range where it's documented.
Customer support (10%). Channels, hours, and how quickly a human answers — judged from operator documentation and recurring themes in public reviews, with sources named.
Mobile apps (5%). Availability on iOS and Android and current store ratings on the date of the check.
How the total works
Each criterion is scored from 0 to 10 in 0.1 steps against a written rubric, then multiplied by its weight and summed. The total sorts every table on this site — the homepage, the collections, the catalogue. Scores are deliberately differentiated: if two operators differ in the documents, they differ in the table.
About licensing — honestly
Most international online casinos hold a Curaçao Gaming Authority licence; some hold others (MGA, Kahnawake, Anjouan); some we could not verify a licence for at all despite checking. We don't pretend one status is the other: every review states the licence — regulator and number — where we found and could source one, and says plainly when we couldn't confirm it. That's an editorial choice for transparency, not an endorsement either way.
Money and independence
We may earn commission when you follow a link to an operator — that's disclosed above every table it applies to, and it has no input into the score: the formula runs on the documented criteria above, and the table order is the formula's output. See the full advertising disclosure.
Updates
Every review shows its «updated» date. Offers carry the date they were last re-verified; expired offers come down automatically. Corrections get made and dated, not quietly left stale.
