How we check
Every record on this site is built the same way: read the primary sources, cite what they say, date the check, and mark what's missing instead of guessing at it. This page is that process, laid out in full.
What we read
- The operator's own terms and conditions and bonus pages — the source for wagering multipliers, payout windows, minimum deposits and payment-method exclusions.
- Public licence registers for the regulator an operator claims (or the absence of a claim at all).
- Named public review sources for player-reported issues: Trustpilot, AskGamblers, Casino.Guru and LCB.org.
- App-store listings, where an operator publishes a mobile app, for current ratings and availability.
Every figure on a review traces back to one of these, cited in place.
What a check date means
The date next to a «Checked» stamp is the date we last confirmed the figures on that row against the sources above — not the date the review was first written. Facts drift: bonus terms change, payout windows get revised, licences lapse. A stale check date is a signal to re-verify, not a rounding error.
What «licence status as found» means
We report the licence status we could actually confirm — regulator and number where the register or the operator's own footer supports it, stated plainly as unconfirmed where it doesn't. We don't upgrade a status because it reads better, and we don't downgrade one out of caution either. A licence claim that can't be verified against a public register is written up as exactly that: unverified, not disqualifying by default and not endorsed either.
The three record stamps
Each operator row on a schedule carries one of three marks, drawn straight from the data rather than set by hand:
- Checked, with a date. The default — figures read from the operator's own terms as of the date shown.
- Payout window not disclosed. Applied when the operator publishes no withdrawal-speed figure at all — we don't invent a plausible number to fill the field.
- Payout complaints on file. Applied when our cited sources document a pattern of non-payment or withdrawal complaints against that operator, regardless of how the rest of the profile scores.
What we don't do
We don't open accounts, deposit funds, or place bets to test an operator — nothing here claims hands-on play testing. We don't sell ranking position or score improvements to operators; commission from affiliate links has no input into the formula described on the methodology page. And we don't leave a fact unsourced: where a source doesn't publish something, the record says «not disclosed» instead of filling the gap.
Where AI fits
